Two more new promotional pictures for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey have been added to the gallery, both featuring Aidan Turner as Kili. The first takes place presumably inside Bilbo Baggin’s hobbit hole, when the dwarves first arrive. The second appears to follow the crew on their “unexpected journey.” I believe there are more to this poster series (not featuring Aidan, however), which I’ll also be adding soon.
Seems like there’s a handful of new posters each week for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. This time, there’s a long scroll that depicts the lead characters from the film: Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and the thirteen dwarves — including Aidan Turner as Kili. Be sure to click on the full image in the gallery for a great, high-quality look at everyone.
Two new posters featuring characters from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey have been released. The first – which was released a few days ago – looks similar to previous Lord Of The Rings posters, focusing on a single prominent character (like Frodo and Aragorn). This time, Bilbo Baggins gets the special treatment. Another poster was released today, featuring all thirteen of the dwarves, including Aidan Turner as Kili. Both have been added to the gallery for your enjoyment.
Many new film stills from The Hobbit have emerged thanks to an iTunes app. Three of the photos feature Aidan Turner as Kili, one of which also includes Fili (Dean O’Gorman). There’s not much else to report on with regards to the stills, but I should add that the app is worth checking out if you want more insight on the upcoming film.
Take a look at the amazing new scroll from The Hobbit, depicting numerous scenes from the upcoming film. Aidan Turner (as Kili) is heavily featured several times within the long, horizontal panel, which is hopefully an indication of how prominent his role will be. When you check out this “poster” in the gallery, remember to enlarge it for best viewing.
Among a reported 3500 members of cast and crew, Aidan Turner and Dean O’Gorman celebrated the completion of The Hobbit at a wrap party on Saturday night, July 7th. It was so large that it was actually held at the TSB Bank arena in Wellington, New Zealand! Peter Jackson’s assistant, Matt Dravitzki, stated that it was a strictly private affair for those involved with the production, so unfortunately the above picture is probably all we’ll see of Aidan from the event.
Our first film still of Aidan Turner in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has hit the web. Entertainment Weekly published several stills from the movie on their website, so head over there and check them out for a better look at the upcoming epic. (There’s another view of the dwarves in their barrels.) Hopefully larger, better quality images will soon surface as well.
Dean O’Gorman (a.k.a. Fili, Aidan Turner’s co-star in The Hobbit) now has an art exhibit up and running at the Page Blackie Gallery in Wellington, New Zealand. The c-type photographs on display show men in army uniforms, looking battered from war experience — and one of those models is Aidan himself. Check out more of Dean’s work here (and look for the other Hobbit co-star in the mix).
As a side-note: ATO would like to wish Aidan Turner a very happy 29th birthday!
Nineteen “new” pictures have been added to the gallery, featuring Aidan Turner alongside his “Being Human” co-stars, Lenora Crichlow and Russell Tovey. It’s from an old photo shoot that was already uploaded to ATO, but the gallery wasn’t hosting the entire set. Unfortunately, although the photographs are very large and of great quality, they do have a subtle tag. I hope you enjoy regardless.
